The answer (I hope) is VERY LOUD.
On October 20th 2012, I released my debut novel, This Man. I could never have anticipated the wild ride I was about to go on. Never.
On Nov 15th 2022, nearly ten years to the day, I will release This Woman – The story told from Jesse Ward.
Breathe, people. Just take a moment and breathe. YES! Finally, I pulled my big girl knickers on and delved back into the world of our beloved Lord of the Manor, and I have retold the story from Jesse’s beautiful, complex, (and a little bit unreasonable) mind. AND IT WAS EPIC. Writing it, filling in all the blanks, reconnecting with my original and first, was an experience like no other. You’ve all spent years wondering how his mind works, you’ve wanted to get his thoughts, and while I was furiously writing it all down on the pages, I found it somewhat therapeutic.
Jesse wants his story told, and what Jesse Ward wants, he usually (always) gets. So here I am, ten years later, at the mercy of this man’s crazy ways.
Who has the power? You do, Jesse. You. Bloody Do. And as ever, I love that you wormed your way into my head and still, all this time later, refuse to leave.
