New stories coming your way…
Wow. It feels like a lifetime…and beyond that, too 😉 BUT I’m finally delighted to be able to share what is next for me. I have recently signed a new deal with my fabulous publishers, Grand Central and Orion Books – both part of the Hachette Book Group. Once again, I’m overwhelmed by the impatience of my readers. I only ever see this as a good thing, so thank you for being so keen to constantly ask where my writing path might lead to next. It’s a relief to be able to share that with you now.
The deal that I’ve signed is for two stand-alone novels. Two separate books, two separate stories. I’ve never written stand-alone books before, so this is a monumental achievement in itself for me. I’ve started and finished a story in one book! Of course, I am totally in love with both stories and I so hope you guys fall in love with them, too. It’s hard for me to convey exactly what you can expect from these two novels, except the usual JEM angst, emotion and fast ride. So I’m going to quote someone who has read the first book, The Protector, which follows the story of an ex-British special forces sniper who’s hired as a bodyguard to protect a young heiress.

The pressure of coming up with something new and fresh for my readers is immense! So it’s amazing to get these words from the person who represents me as a writer, because this person knows my readers, and she knows what you want and expect from me. My agent’s enthusiasm for these two stories has settled my nerves a little and made me all the more excited to share these new characters with you. I cannot wait to unleash these books!
I will have an official release date and a cover for THE PROTECTOR soon. I will also shout when I have a synopsis, and I will bother you once again when the pre-orders go up.
Until then, I am so relieved to have finally had my gag removed 🙂

i really love ur books i in think u r one of my favourite aurthurs i could read ur books over & over again this man trilogy was great but one night promised was even better it beat any think i have read befor but the pretector was the best by far who dont love a ex xx army man and a body gaurd all rolled in to on one please hurry up and write some mazing stories i c arnt wait ur ideaswnd t y e way u put the people and the place s like london togeather majes more real thank u so much ur truely y dawn rankin x
