A sneak peek…
When authors play games…
Some of you may have noticed that us authors sometimes like to play games. A recent one involved sharing 7 lines from our current project. I like to keep my cards close to my chest when it comes to my unreleased works. But I played along and shared when I was tagged by the lovely Gretchen De La O. Because I knew she thought I wouldn’t 🙂
So here it is – 7-ish lines from my current project…
He steps closer, and my body locks up. I lose all cognitive thought. Reaching over my shoulder, he accepts a coffee, making a point of brushing against me. I’d move, but I’m too busy concentrating on keeping my composure. …
He pulls back and drops his mouth to my ear. ‘I would ask you to dinner,’ he whispers provocatively, clearly aiming to sound sexy as hell. It works. I’m trembling in my heels, pulsing down below, and I’m quite pissed off about it. My eyes clench shut and my lungs go heavy, challenging my breathing. ‘But I tend to avoid women with stalking tendencies.’ He breaks away, turns, and saunters out, leaving me with my stunned mouth hanging open.
‘The bastard,’ I exhale on a gush of air as I relieve my burning lungs and stagger to a nearby table. I spend far too long staring at my coffee, willing my mind to return to a safe place. Because he’s obviously all kinds of dangerous.
I’ve read all of your ONE MAN and ONE NIGHT trilogies. They’re fantastic and I can’t wait until you release the next one. I’ve just read your “Sneak Peak,” so when will the next series be released????

Just started One Night : Unveiled. Completely hooked. Only started reading One Night : Promised on Thursday, finished One Night : Denied earlier this evening. Can’t wait to get fully stuck in to Unveiled tomorrow.

The One Night Trilogy and This Man Trilogy are both amazingly written and have intense and fantastic storylines as well as memorable characters that I fell in love with. Really looking forward to reading the new books! I am so excitede even after reading a few lines

I’ve just finished This Man trilogy and although I knew it, I’m sorry I’m done. It was so so good with the HEA I need. What a wonderful story, what strong character is Ava. I’m looking forward to reading the One Night series.

I love the This Man trilogy and the One Night Trilogy so much that I’ve read them over and over again. Love everything about those characters. I cannot wait to see what your next series has in store for us. That teaser was great but not nearly enough! I need more! Any hints on a release date?
